Do you want to know how to use your camera or how to take better landscapes, portraits, sports or other genres of photography?

Do you want to learn how to use your camera? What do the different buttons and numbers mean on your camera and lens? Do you want to learn how to take landscapes or portraits? How do the experts take great photos of that mountain range or take great portraits that look stunning to the viewer?

These and other questions can be answered by attending online or in person group sessions or individual tutoring by Ingrid, the experienced photographer offering these sessions.

As an experienced photographer with 20 years experience I can pass on this knowledge to you in either small groups or one on one. As an experienced TAFE teacher for 14 years I understood where the students were coming from and what they desired to know. I can guide you to learn through multiple learning styles including hands-on experiences. You will have the opportunity to develop skills with using your camera and in the various fields of photography so that you come away more confident.

Learn how to use your aperture and your shutter speed and observe what effect that has on your photos. Find out about ISO, depth of field and image quality.

Everything seeming to go wrong in your photos? You see, the camera doesn't know what you are shooting and so on auto settings - the camera doesn't know what to prioritize. For instance, your sunset photo turns out too dark or your landscape is out of focus in the background. Or your portrait has too much clutter and sharpness in the background.

Become confident to take your camera off auto as you begin to understand how to adjust the settings on your camera to more effectively capture what you desire to shoot.

Then have fun using your newfound skills so you can take better portraits, landscapes, night photos. Learn how to take better sports and action shots such as car or horse races. Also learn how to take fireworks, long exposures for those dreamy waterfall or ocean shots.
